Accounts and getting started
Do I need an account to see your rates?
No. The rate directory covering all 19,172 prefix routes across 259 destinations is public and searchable without registering. We publish pricing before signup because hiding it behind a form is a tactic we dislike being subjected to ourselves.
What do I need to open an account?
Your name, company, email, and a password. Registration takes a minute. Outbound routes are enabled after traffic review — see below.
Is there a monthly fee or minimum spend?
No. Accounts are prepaid with a $10 minimum top-up, no subscription, and no monthly commitment. Balance does not expire while the account remains active.
Billing and payments
How does prepaid billing work?
You top up, the balance is credited after blockchain confirmation, and calls draw down against it. When the balance reaches zero, calls stop.
This is deliberate rather than a limitation. Prepaid caps your exposure if SIP credentials leak — toll fraud on a postpaid account can generate thousands of dollars of premium-rate traffic overnight, and with prepaid the damage stops at your balance.
Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?
| Asset | Network | Confirmations required |
|---|---|---|
| BTC | Bitcoin | 1 |
| ETH | Ethereum mainnet | 12 |
| USDT | ERC-20 (Ethereum) | 12 |
| USDT | TRC-20 (Tron) | 20 |
How does the payment flow work?
- Choose a USD amount between $10 and $10,000 and a network.
- We fetch a market price and create an invoice with a 30-minute rate lock.
- Send the exact displayed amount to the address shown.
- Submit the on-chain transaction hash.
- We verify the network, recipient, amount, token contract, success status, confirmation count, and that the hash has not been used before.
- After the required confirmations, the invoice is marked paid and your wallet is credited inside a single database transaction.
- A printable receipt becomes available automatically.
What if I miss the 30-minute window?
A pending invoice is cancelled as expired after 30 minutes. If you sent funds within the window but confirmations arrive later, the invoice continues to process — the deadline applies to sending, not to confirming.
If you send after expiry, contact support with the transaction hash and we will resolve it manually.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Underpayment does not satisfy the invoice automatically; contact support with the hash.
Overpayment credits only the invoice's USD value and requires manual review. Contact support and we will credit the difference.
Is an exchange order number the same as a transaction hash?
No, and this is a common and costly confusion. A transaction hash is an on-chain identifier, typically 64 hexadecimal characters. An exchange order or withdrawal reference is internal to that exchange and cannot be verified on the blockchain. Submit the on-chain hash from the withdrawal, not the exchange's own reference.
Do you offer refunds?
Unused prepaid balance may be refundable in specific circumstances. Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible on-chain, which constrains what is possible. See the refund policy.
Rates and routing
Are the published rates final?
The rates shown are source "from" rates for the listed routes. Final commercial pricing depends on your traffic profile, volume, destination mix, and quality requirements. For volume or wholesale, contact sales.
How often do rates change?
Rate tables are updated as carriers revise them. Each route in the directory carries its effective date.
What is a billing increment?
How call time is rounded, shown as first/subsequent. 60/60 bills whole minutes; 1/1 bills per second. On short calls this materially changes your effective cost — the VoIP fundamentals guide explains the arithmetic.
Traffic approval and compliance
Why do you review traffic before activating routes?
Because non-compliant traffic gets routes blocked at carrier level, which degrades service for every legitimate customer sharing them. Review confirms destinations, expected volume, and lawful use case.
What traffic will you not carry?
Traffic that is fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful in either the originating or destination jurisdiction. That includes caller ID spoofing intended to mislead, calls to numbers that have opted out, and campaigns impersonating government bodies, banks, delivery services, or technical support. See the acceptable use policy.
Am I responsible for compliance with calling laws?
Yes. As the party placing the call you carry responsibility for do-not-call scrubbing, consent, calling hours, abandon rates, and caller ID accuracy in each destination. Our compliance guide covers the main regimes as general information, not legal advice.
Technical
What do I need to connect?
A SIP-capable PBX or dialer — Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, ViciDial, VOS, or 3CX all work. We provide host, credentials, and supported codecs. The ViciDial guide includes a worked carrier configuration.
Which codecs are supported?
G.711 ulaw and alaw as standard. Pin your codec explicitly rather than negotiating freely — see VoIP fundamentals.
Do you provide DIDs?
Yes, for inbound and outbound caller ID. Availability and pricing vary by country — contact sales with the countries you need.
Can you deploy a VOS server for me?
Yes. VOS3000 installation, migration, carrier setup, routing rules, billing configuration, and ongoing support. Start a conversation.
The guide library
Are the guides really free?
Yes. No paywall, no email gate, no registration, no upsell. We sell SIP termination, not information.
Do you sell call center campaigns or processes?
No, and we never will. Anyone charging a fee to release a campaign is running a scam — see how to find clients for how legitimate work is actually sourced.
Can I republish your guides?
Not wholesale. Short quotes with a link are welcome. For anything larger, ask us.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum top-up on CloudyVoice?
Ten US dollars. There is no monthly commitment, no minimum spend, and no subscription. Balance does not expire while the account remains active.
Which cryptocurrencies does CloudyVoice accept?
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT on the ERC-20 network, and USDT on the TRC-20 network. Each invoice locks a conversion rate for 30 minutes and displays the exact amount to send.
How long does it take for a payment to credit?
Once you submit the transaction hash, the invoice enters confirming status and is credited automatically after the required confirmations — one for Bitcoin, twelve for Ethereum and ERC-20, and twenty for TRC-20. In practice this is usually a few minutes to under an hour.
Do I need an account to see rates?
No. The full directory of 19,172 prefix routes is public and searchable without registering.
Why does CloudyVoice review traffic before activating routes?
